Public input sought at Community Development work plan hearing

A public hearing of Deschutes County Community Development Department’s proposed 2007-2008 work plan will be held on Wednesday, February 28 at 10:00 a.m. Citizens interested in understanding how the Community Development Department (CDD) plans to meet the needs of Deschutes County’s growing population are encouraged to attend.
The proposed work plan will include major projects proposed for the Deschutes County Community Development Planning, Environmental Health and Building Safety Divisions. Project examples include the implementation of the South County Regional Problem Solving project, working with Deschutes County cities on urban expansion issues, an update of the County transportation plan and an online website permitting system.
