A 13,000 square-foot Trader Joe’s will be built at the Cascade Village Shopping Center

SIMA Corporation, the Santa Barbara-based company who owns and manages the Cascade Village Shopping Center in north Bend, announced today it has signed Trader Joe's to a 13,000 square-foot lease.  The long-term lease is a big contribution to the developer's goal of creating a strong tenant mix for the shopping center.   

Trader Joe's will be located in the south part of the property that faces Highway 97 and is adjacent to Food-4-Less.  An existing building in front of the Food-4-Less store will be demolished to accommodate Trader Joe's and additional parking. 

"We are very excited to be opening in Bend.  It's in a great location - there are lots of foodies out there," said Alison Mochizuki, spokeswoman for the Monrovia, California-based company.  The store will stock all it typical offers, said Muchizuki.
