Up-to-date information will be presented on employer leave obligations and applicable leave laws
Miller Nash LLP, a Northwest law firm with offices in Central Oregon and Portland, plus Vancouver and Seattle, Washington, will be hosting a free seminar, “Leaves of Absence,” to offer central Oregon employers a practical overview of the employee leave laws that apply in Oregon and Washington, including FMLA, OFLA, WFLA, workers’ compensation and disability laws.
The firm’s top labor attorneys will provide concise information, often through case studies explaining how laws apply to the most relevant leave issues. After attending the seminar, attendees should have a better understanding of their leave obligations and which laws might apply to typical employee leave requests.
Human resources professionals, employee benefits specialists and in-house legal counsel are invited to attend this informative seminar.
The seminar will be held Tuesday, April 3, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Deschutes Brewery Mountain Room located at 901 SW Simpson Avenue in Bend. A complementary continental breakfast will be provided.
