Three Madras Men Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges

An ongoing investigation by the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement Team (CODE) into the sales and distribution of methamphetamine in the Central Oregon area lead to the arrest of three Madras men on Tuesday evening , June 26.

Edmundo Garcilazo-Romeo, 28; Rufino Noyola-Gomez, 41; and Emiliano Castillo Cuevas, 46; all of Madras were arrested and jailed at the Jefferson County Jail.

Deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office performed a traffic stop at about 9:30 pm. With assistance from ‘Missy’, a Narcotics K-9, approximately ¼ pound of methamphetamine was found in the vehicle.

CODE team detectives, along with assistance from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office subsequently served a search warrant at Noyola-Gomez’s residence in Madras. Detectives and Officers found approximately 3 ounces of meth, ¼ ounce of cocaine, cash, firearms, and scales.

The three men were charged with Possession, Delivery, and Manufacture of a Scheduled II Controlled Substance; and Conspiracy to Deliver and Manufacture a Scheduled II Controlled Substance.
