Future Filmmaker Festival accepting entries

Contest is open to filmmakers ages 12-18; entry deadline is April 2
BEND, Oregon -- BendFilm and Wahoo Films have announced their Call For Entries for the third annual “Future Filmmakers Festival” to be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 3 at Summit High School.
· Narrative video (fictional short story) · Public Service Announcement (commercials under 1 minute) · Documentary/News stories (non-fiction story or school television news story) · Experimental video (includes animation, music videos, etc.)
Over $2,000 in prizes will be awarded, including a $500 grand prize for the Best in Show.
In addition, Get Outta My Face is proud to sponsor the “72 Hour Shootout,” a weekend filmmaking challenge that will take place starting April 12. Individuals or teams of students may shoot, edit and produce a one-minute film that is specific to a theme that will be released on April 12. The top films from the 72 Hour Shootout will be featured at the Future Filmmakers Festival and will have a chance to win the $250 prize.
