Bomb threat prompts evacuation of Elton Gregory Middle School

A bomb threat found written on the wall of the boys’ bathroom at Elton Gregory Middle School in Redmond prompted an immediate evacuation of students and staff Thursday afternoon, police reported.

Redmond Police Officers responded to the school at 1220 NW Upas after a message was found indicating an impending detonation at 2:15 p.m.

A thorough search was conducted, Lt. Jason Rogers reported.  “No explosive devices or suspicion items were found”, he said, adding “nor has the individual or individuals responsible for the note been identified”.
