The Deschutes County Commission on Children & Families (CCF) has announced the 2007-2009 Request for Proposal (RFP) process for public grant monies. 

The CCF anticipates approximately $130,000 will be available in competitive grant funds through this 2007-2009 RFP process.

Priorities for the RFP will be addressed in two areas:  Positive Youth Development, and Child Abuse Prevention/Family Functioning. All organizations that serve youth and families are encouraged to apply.

An optional bidder’s meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 3rd from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Deschutes Services Center (DeArmond Room-first floor) at 1300 NW Wall Street in Bend.  All interested applicants are encouraged to attend the informational meeting to apply for competitive funds through this RFP process. 

Applications must be received at the CCF office by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1.  Faxed or postmarked proposals or those received after the deadline will not be accepted.
