With its year-round guided trips, Over the Hill Gang International, a club that draws members age 50 and over from all over the world, aims to keep its members young at heart with fresh new adventures every season.

To usher in its 2005-2006 season, OTHGI is heading to southwest Colorado in August for its San Juan Mountains Easy Adventure trip. The journey includes a hike to a backcountry lake, a ride on a steam train, a Jeep excursion through the San Juan Mountains and a rafting trip down the Animas River.

September will be a busy month for OTHGI members who enjoy bicycling. Cyclists can explore sites in England's Cotswolds region, such as Hidcote Manor Gardens and Stratford-upon-Avon, William Shakespeare's birthplace.

Then, OTHGI kicks off 2006 with several exciting ski trips: a 13-night European ski adventure in January; a trip to Taos, N.M., in February to attend ski school; and an excursion to Utah in March to experience six of the state's ski areas. Summer trips in 2006 include biking in France's Loire Valley, golfing in Whistler, British Columbia, and rafting on Oregon's Rogue River.
