KPOV Hoopla

KPOV’s 2nd annual Hoopla celebrates one year being on the air with music, food and fun. KPOV will broadcast live programming from their parking lot and studios. Community members can enjoy music from Mark Ransom and friends (local community jamming), Quincy Street (bluegrass) and Scott Huckaby (sounds illuminated), as well as food from Parrilla Grill and a kids hula hooping clinic from Fireflyte (a local fire / dance performance group).

During the Hoopla, KPOV invites community members to come into our studios to record a short personal or funny story to be played on air as part of KPOV’s daily sound. Excerpts from the stories will be played throughout the day on KPOV during the coming year between shows.

This event will be held Saturday, July 15 from 2 – 6 pm at the  KPOV Studios located at 550 NW Bond Street in Bend, Oregon.
