A Washington man was arrested Sunday afternoon, accused of traveling to Portland, Oregon to meet two 14-year-old girls for sex after conversing in an online chat line. The girls, however, were FBI agents working with the Innocent Images Task Force.
Gregory Charles Dolle, 43, of Granite Falls, Washington began chatting with an FBI agent who posed as a 14-year-old girl on March 17, using the screen gcletus73. According to an FBI news release, Dolle, who is self-employed, allegedly traveled to Portland for the sole purpose of an arranged meeting with the “girls”.
Beaverton Police officers assisted in the arrest, which was without incident, agents said.
Dolle was scheduled to make his first appearance before Federal magistrate Dennis J. Hubel this afternoon at the US Courthouse in Portland, with Assistant US Attorney Greg Nyhus prosecuting the case.
The Portland FBI’s Innocent Images Task Force is in connection with the national initiative designed to apprehend child pornographers or those who prey on children online. The Portland FBI’s Innocent Images Task Force is comprised of representatives from Beaverton and Hillsoboro Police Departments, and the Portland Police Bureau.
