Miami police seek two in 42nd Street murder

Miami Police homicide detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating two men in connection with the shooting death of a 34-year old man near the intersection of NW 19th Avenue and NW 42nd Street, authorities reported.

According to a news release, witnesses saw two black men in their 20s step out of a new model black Nissan Murano with tinted windows and shoot the victim about 12:30 a.m., April 10.  The suspects then sped off north on NW 19th Avenue.

A Miami Police patrol officer was on duty in the area and heard multiple gun shots, police said.  Upon arrival at the scene, he found the victim lying in the street suffering from several gun shot wounds.  Miami Fire & Rescue transported the man to Miami Jackson Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Unit, where he later died of his injuries.

The suspects are described as two black men in their 20s, wearing dark clothing.  One of the suspects wore his hair in dreadlocks.
