Washington State University Vancouver administrators evacuated and closed the campus Tuesday evening after finding threatening graffiti in the library which indicated that a “time of action” was scheduled for 8 p.m.
“In light of this information, and in light of recent events in Virginia, we feel the most prudent action was to close the campus,” university administrators said. All non-essential personnel were evacuated, and the campus planned to re-open today. “While this action may be overly cautious, the safety of the campus community has to be the primary concern,” they said.
