Warm Springs Man Appears in Federal Court Following Arrest on a Two-count Federal Indictment Charging Sexual Abuse of a Minor
24-year old Floyd Frank, Jr., a resident of the Warm Springs Indian Reservation in Warm Springs, Oregon, appeared this week in federal court following his arrest on a two-count federal indictment charging him the sexual abuse of a minor. The maximum penalty for this offense is 15 years. Frank was detained in federal custody pending trial which is scheduled for June 19, 2007.
The indictment alleges that Frank knowingly engaged in sexual acts with a minor who was 14 years of age at the time of the offenses.
The case was jointly investigated by the Warm Springs Police Department and the Bend Resident Agency of the FBI. The prosecution of the case is being handled by Assistant United States Attorney Billy J. Williams.
