Three teenagers were arrested Saturday afternoon outside of the Beantown Bounce dance competition in Boston after they brandished a firearm, authorities reported

Boston Police officers from Roxbury District B-2 were monitoring the crowd outside the Reggie Lewis Center where about 2,000 juveniles were attending the event.

According to a news release, as the kids were exiting the building about 4:15 p.m. April 21, officers observed one of three occupants of a vehicle double-parked on Malcolm X Bouldevard brandish a weapon.  Officers moved in quickly, secured the car and arrested the driver and two passengers after apparently seizing two firearms.

Dominque Hardmon, 18, and two 16-year-old boys, all of Dorchester, were taken into custody and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
