Two sought in robbery, homicide

AUSTIN, Tex. - Austin Police Officers are looking for two men suspected of robbing and shooting to death a man in a northeast Austin parking lot Saturday night.

North East Area Command patrol officers responded to a report of a “person down” in a parking lot at 1101 Reinli Street shortly after 10 p.m., April 21.  According to Austin Police Public Information Office, emergency personnel performed first aid on the unidentified Hispanic male before he was transported to Brackenridge Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Police believe the victim was walking through the parking lot when he was approached by two suspects, robbed, and shot.  The suspects were seen leaving the area in a white vehicle.

The suspects are described as two males, both 22-25 years old.  One is Hispanic; and the other is black with a medium complexion, short hair, 5-foot 10-inches tall, weighing 175 pounds, and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt.
