CAIRO - The foreign ministers of Jordan and Egypt will visit Israel to discuss the Arab peace plan, it was agreed in Cairo Thursday.

Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak agreed Thursday Arab League representatives should visit Israel, Haaretz reported.

Mubarek said the visit will not be postponed because of Israel's political situation.

Mubarek and Livni met for two hours in Cairo. They also discussed security in Gaza, the firing of Qassam rockets into Israel, the strengthening of Hamas, Iran and diplomatic ties between Egypt and Israel.

"The present situation in Gaza is unacceptable," Livni said, Haaretz reported. She said that the Arab world can legitimize the moderate side of the Palestinian Authority by supporting it.
