Two boys, ages 14 and 17, and a woman were arrested last week in Bend in connection with the murder of a 60-year old man in Golden Valley, Arizona.
Officers performed a high-risk traffic stop on the van at SE Reed Lane near Third Street. The van was occupied by seven people including the murder suspects, Kansky said.
14-year-old Cody R. Simons and 17-year-old Travis Lee Smith, both of Golden Valley, were taken into custody without incident and are being held on first-degree murder charges from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
Police also arrested 37-year old Golden Valley resident Tammy Sue Smith, who was lodged at the Deschutes County Jail and faces Mohave County felony charges for hindering prosecution related to the murder of Hall. Hall was found dead of a gunshot wound in the 300 block of Verde Road in Golden Valley, Arizona.
