Prineville hit by rash of vandalism

Prineville Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the vandals responsible for breaking 16 car windows with rocks in the northeast part of town early Saturday morning. The latest rash of vandalism follows several incidents of slashed tires about a week earlier. 

According to Chief Eric bush, police received 16 separate complaints from 3:16 a.m. to 10:32 a.m. reporting vehicle windows that were broken when rocks or other objects were thrown through the glass.

Police are following several leads in the cases, but are asking that anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the early morning hours on or about May 12 contact them at 541-447-4168.
