BAGHDAD - Two Iraqi ABC News employees were ambushed and killed on their way home from work in Baghdad, the network announced Friday.

Cameraman Alaa Uldeen Aziz, 33, and soundman Saif Laith Yousuf, 26, were returning home from the ABC News Baghdad bureau when their car was attacked Thursday by unknown assailants, said ABC News President David Westin.

Alaa Uldeen Aziz is survived by his wife, his two daughters and his mother, while Saif Laith Yousuf leaves his fiancee, his mother and brothers and sisters, Westin said.
