For the third time in two months, and twice in less than one week, a bomb threat written on the boy’s bathroom wall of Elton Gregory Middle School in Redmond, Oregon has prompted a search and evacuation.  This time, however, school officials are offering a $200 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the responsible party.

School officials grow weary after the third bomb threat in less then two months, and offer a $200 reward for the conviction of the party responsible.
As was the case in the last two threats received March 22 and May 15, today’s threat indicated an exact time of detonation, and following an evacuation and search of the school at 1220 NW Upas in Redmond, nothing suspicious was found.

According to Sgt. C. Unger with Redmond Police, students were evacuated at 1:45 p.m. and dismissed at 2 p.m., the time of detonation according to today’s threat.  "A couple of students were interviewed with negative success," Unger said.

Redmond Police are continuing the investigation, and anyone with information about today’s incident, or the two prior incidents, is asked to call 541.504.3400 or dispatch at 541.693.6911.
