Deschutes National Forest motorists will not be able to cross Odell Creek on Forest Road 4660 between Odell and Davis Lakes while a bridge is constructed across Odell Creek.

The Crescent Ranger District gravel road leaves the Cascade Lakes Highway and winds around the west side of Davis Lake.  The road remains open on both ends from the highway to the construction site.

Motorists can access the West Davis Lake Campground, East Davis Lake Campground and Maiden Peak Trailhead on the west side of the lake by driving southwest on Forest Road 4660 where it leaves the Cascade Lakes Highway near Wickiup Reservoir.

Deschutes National Forest engineers expect the project to be completed by early November, according to Roland Giller of the Office of Communications for Ochoco and Deschutes National Forests and Prineville District Bureau of Land Management.
