The yacht "Imagination" was headed for Bimini in the Bahamas when it began taking on water 13 miles east of Miami Thursday, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.

People on the craft issued an urgent call for help. Shortly after rescuers pulled people from the yacht, it quickly sank.

The Coast Guard rescued the baby, the child, Ziada Pascual, 61, Pedro Pascual, 60, Chris Murray, 43, and Amarillys Pascual, 39, from the sinking motor yacht and took them back to Miami, the newspaper reported.

The cause of the sinking was under investigation.
