BAGHDAD - The U.S. military said 16 suspects detained in a Baghdad raid Thursday are believed to belong to a network that moves weapons from Iran to Iraq.

In all, coalition forces arrested more than 30 suspected terrorists in raids Thursday, Voice of America reported.

Raids in Fallujah and Hit aimed at the "al-Qaida in Iraq" group resulted in 15 arrests and a suspect arrested in Baghdad was believed to be involved in car bombings, VOA said.

The U.S. military also announced that four American soldiers died in combat Wednesday.
