The Deschutes County Health Department’s Downtown Health Center opened it's doors, Wednesday, March 1. Located in downtown Bend behind the Courthouse, the Center was created to support young adults in their effort to stay healthy and make responsible life decisions.

The Center provides educational information and counseling, exams, testing and supplies for those young adults up to the age of 25. The Downtown Health Center is located at 1128 NW Harriman in the old Juvenile Detention Building. The Center provides all services in a caring, confidential and youth-friendly environment by medical practitioners who specialize in the care of young adults.

The Center offers:

• Reproductive health/sexuality education and counseling
• Annual exams
• Free contraceptives
• Sexually transmitted infection testing & treatment
• Pregnancy testing

The Downtown Health Center hours of operation are;

Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00am to 1:00pm and 2:00pm to 7:00pm. Walk-ins and appointments are welcome.
