A 36-year old Bend woman was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries early this morning after she lost control of her car on Powell Butte Highway in Crook County, traveled onto the gravel shoulder and rolled the vehicle, deputies reported.

Elizabeth Pacheco was traveling north in a Nissan Sentra near milepost 5.5 about 5:30 a.m., June 12, when the accident occurred, said Crook County Sheriff’s Deputy Dave Dethman.

Deputies from both Crook and Deschutes counties responded to the scene, and were assisted by Redmond Fire and Ambulance personnel.  Pacheco was unable to give a statement, Dethman said, and was transported to St. Charles Medical Center in Bend with unknown injuries.
