A 25-year old Myrtle Creek man was killed early this morning in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate-5 about seven miles south of Roseburg, police reported.
Troopers and Winston Emergency Medical Service and Fire personnel responded to the scene and found Michael Kenneth Rogers, 25, deceased inside the pickup. The victim was not wearing a seatbelt, troopers reported.
Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers from the Roseburg Command Office are continuing the investigation into the crash, which was reported about 5 a.m. today but occurred at an unknown time. Police believe that Rogers was in the Roseburg area with unidentified friends and was on his way home when the accident occurred.

Oregon Department of Transportation cleared the scene about 8:30 a.m.
