COCC Community Learning Registration Starts Soon

Registration for Central Oregon Community College’s Community Learning—formerly known as Continuing Education—fall classes will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5. Class schedules are being mailed to all district residents.

The schedule includes more than 250 new and regular noncredit offerings. Classes in computers, fitness, business, language, gardening and art are held in Bend, La Pine, Madras, Prineville, Redmond and Sisters. Online courses in computers, language, writing, business, health care and personal development start every month.

Schedules are also available at COCC, local chambers of commerce and libraries or on the Web. Students can register by mail, e-mail, fax, telephone, on the Web or in person. To register, fill out one of the registration forms in the back of the schedule, call 383-7270 or access www.cocc.edu                                  

COCC Closes For Labor Day Holiday

The college will be closed Sept. 1 through 4 for the Labor Day holiday and Thursday, Sept. 7, for the annual all-college meeting.

Between summer and fall terms, the Central Oregon Community College Library will be open 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Aug. 21 to 31. In September, the library will be open 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 5, 6, 8 and 11 to 15.
