Fire investigators are still working to determine the cause of a small brush fire that burned ¼ acre in Tumalo State Park in north Bend on Sunday.

Bend Fire & Rescue dispatched one water tender and two wildland companies, who were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.  No structures within the popular campground were threatened.

“Remember we have very dry conditions at this time,” Captain Scott Wyman said. “Use extreme caution when outdoors.”
