Several more charges of public indecency were added against a man who is alleged to have exposed himself at the drive-through windows of at least five different coffee shops and fast food restaurants throughout Bend.

Bend Police had earlier arrested Garry S. Harding, a 39-year old Bend resident, in connection with one victim at a single coffee shop.  Harding allegedly visited the drive-through window of Oregon Mountain Coffee at 1041 northeast 9th Street twice earlier this month while naked from the waist down, exposing himself to a 16-year old female clerk.

Harding was arrested Monday, August 28 after the girl summoned police when he returned to the coffee shop.  He was charged with public indecency, criminal trespass and stalking, and was lodged at the Deschutes County Adult Jail.

According to Sgt. Paul Kansky, detectives continued to further investigate other unsolved public indecency reports, and found reason to believe Harding had committed several other similar offenses.  Three more teen-age girls and a woman reported similar experiences at Blenderz Juice & Java, McDonald’s in east Bend, and both Dutch Bros. Coffees.

On August 31, detectives added several additional public indecency charges against Harding.  His case has been sent to the Deschutes County District Attorney’s Office for charging and prosecution, said the sergeant.
