A 20-year old Wilsonville man has been arrested for the alleged rape, sodomy, and sexual abuse of two teenage girls he befriended on MySpace.com, deputies reported yesterday.

Clackamas County Sheriff’s deputies said that Kyle James Green is believed to have specifically targeted underage girls on the internet, in public libraries, and through introductions from acquaintances.

Green was taken into custody on June 25 and lodged in the Clackamas County Jail with bail set at $250,000, and is charged with third-degree rape and sodomy, first- and third-degree sexual abuse, plus contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor.  A preliminary hearing is scheduled on July 3 in the Clackamas County Circuit Court, Oregon City.

Investigators believe it is likely that additional charges will be submitted to the district attorney in the near future as information from other alleged victims is obtained.

According to a sheriff's office news release, Green moved to Wilsonville from Oregon City earlier this year.  Deputies said he lives in the Boulder Creek Apartments at 28830 SW Ashland Drive, and drives an older red Jeep Cherokee.

Deputies said anyone with information related to Green is encouraged to contact Detective Christie Fryett at 503-557-2876 – reference CCSO case number 07-20778.
