Two jailed for Bend trailer park burglary, assault

Two Klamath County men have been arrested in connection with an alleged assault and burglary at a trailer park south of Bend on Saturday afternoon, deputies reported.
On July 21 about 3 p.m., Deschutes County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the report of an assault at Space # 1 in the Cheyenne Mobile Home Park at 60311 Cheyenne Road, Deputy Neeman and Sgt. Joe DeLuca wrote in a news release.
The suspects, James J. Drake, Jr., 42, and Matthew H. Toepfer, 24, were found at their home in Klamath County and arrested. They are both charged with first-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit second-degree assault. In addition, Drake is charged with second-degree assault.
Costner was treated at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend for injuries sustained in the assault, the deputies said.
