Acting on a tip, Deschutes County Sheriff’s detectives found the ATM machine stolen from the Thriftway Market in Terrebonne early Monday morning.  The machine, located on public land in Jefferson County about ten miles from the market, was burned and all the cash had been removed.  The burglary suspect captured on surveillance footage remains at large.

According to a news release issued by Lt. Kevin Dizney, there is up to a $1,000 reward offered via Crime Stoppers of Central Oregon for information leading to an arrest and filing of charges.  Tipsters may remain anonymous, and anyone with information is asked to contact the detective’s division at 322-4808 during business hours or the Deschutes County 911 dispatch center at 693-6911 on nights and weekends.

The suspect was wearing a blue headed sweatshirt, dark clothing and gloves; and was driving an older model (possibly 1980s) Chevy S-10 or similar make and model pickup, possibly blue over white, with unknown license plates, the lieutenant said.
