Bend marijuana-growing operation discovered

Drug agents released few details in connection with a raid on a southeast Bend home on Thursday afternoon when they discovered a marijuana-growing operation and seized several plants, firearms, and equipment related to setting up and operating a “grow”.

The names of any suspect or suspects were not released, and no charges have been filed in the ongoing investigation, Bend Police Lt. John Gautney – working with the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement (CODE) team - reported.  An update is anticipated next week.

Detectives obtained and executed a search warrant at 20661 Honeysuckle Lane in Bend on Thursday about 2 p.m., the lieutenant said.
