Armed gunman sought in Burger King robbery

Police are looking for a man who held up the Burger King restaurant in north Bend at gunpoint on Tuesday night then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
 
According to a news release prepared by Bend Police Sgt. Brian Kindel, officers responded to the fast food restaurant at 3475 N. Highway 97 about 8:30 p.m.
 
A white male described as six-feet tall with a thin build was reportedly wearing a dark-colored shirt and pants as he entered the restaurant brandishing a handgun.  The suspect demanded money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.  “No injuries were reported,” Kindel said.
