LOS ANGELES -- Republican presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani's campaign finance report showed that he relied heavily on the U.S. Northeast for his campaign money.
The former New York mayor also tapped into Texas and Florida but received less than $1 million from each, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday.
The report, filed Monday, said Giuliani ended the third quarter with $16.6 million in the bank, after spending around $13.3 million.
Giuliani has collected a total of $47.2 million in the first nine months of 2007 and has spent $30.6 million.
Giuliani also said he raised $3.2 million from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut in the third quarter as well as $1.12 million from California, $970,000 in Texas and $960,000 in Florida, where he has been campaigning heavily, the Times said.
