LONDON -- Jurors at the inquest into the death of Princess Diana are trying to determine if her car crashed because her driver was blinded by a brilliant flash.

The inquest at the Royal Courts of Justice in London is examining the circumstances of Diana's death in a single-car crash Aug. 31, 1997, in the Alma tunnel in Paris.

Jurors must decide whether there is any truth to conspiracy theories, including the theory the crash was caused by British agents who used a flash gun to blind driver Henri Paul, Britain's The Daily Telegraph reported Tuesday.

Previous investigations concluded Paul was drunk and was driving to fast.

A witness Monday told of a motorcycle coming out of the tunnel immediately after the crash, the Telegraph reported. Other witnesses have told of a brilliant flash in the tunnel just before the crash.
