The same two Prineville teenagers arrested and accused of burglarizing a Bi-Mart store in mid-July, then again a week later in connection with graffiti “tagging” of numerous businesses using paint they alleged stole from an equipment shed of a local little league field, have been arrested yet again – this time in connection with the theft of $5,000 in merchandise from Joe’s Eastside Market, police reported.

Robert James Atkinson, 18, and Roy Miller, also 18, were taken into custody today following a five-day investigation into the October 20 burglary where the market - a small corner grocery store that also sells miscellaneous goods - was robbed of several thousands of dollars worth of merchandise during the night, Chief Eric Bush said.  “Several items stolen during the burglary were recovered,” he added.

Both suspects were lodged in the Crook County Jail and are charged with first-degree theft and second-degree burglary.  Bail for each is set at $10,000.
